Benjamin Boos makes U23 debut at Leopard Pro Cycling

After announcing the signing of Elias Maris last week, we can proudly communicate our agreement with Benjamin Boos. The German makes the step up from the junior ranks.

Benjamin Boos can be described as a sprinter who likes shorter climbs. It goes without saying that his favourite races are the flat and classic ones. Boos has been combining road racing with competing on the track. In recent years he has been able to obtain good results in both disciplines. On the road, he showed strong performances at highly-rated stage races such as Visegrad 4 Juniors in Hungary and the Driedaagse van Axel in The Netherlands. Next to that, in 2019, Boos became German Road Racing Champion in the U17 category. During his time on the track, he developed quite a bit in the last two year. With the European title in the Individual Pursuit (2020) and the World title in the Team Pursuit (2021). At Leopard Pro Cycling, Boos gets the opportunity to keep combining road and track racing.

"I am very proud that I am now able to announce that I will be part of Leopard Pro Cycling from next year on. In my opinion, Leopard is the best UCI Continental Team where a young rider such as me can develop as the team has a very good race calendar and they have very experienced staff. For the 2022 season, I hope to get used to racing on the U23 level and contribute to the team’s success. Alongside that I will try to keep my focus on track racing as well, as I will do my all to participate at the Paris Olympics in 2024."

"We are delighted that we can add Benjamin Boos to our team for 2022. He is a very talented rider who will get plenty of opportunities to develop himself even more as a rider. With his fast legs, he can be dangerous in bunch sprints, but there will be no pressure at all next year. We look forward to working together with him and support him in both his road and track ambitions.”
