Challenging Saturday in Jerez

Saturday of qualifying is done and dusted for the Moto3 riders in Jerez and Le0pard men Jaume Masia and Dennis Foggia have finished 11th and 19th respectively.

All right, that wasn’t the perfect Saturday we had in mind but we will give our best tomorrow, as one of the elements that define our racing spirit is that we always come back after a tricky day or a difficult moment. Today has been one of those: none of our plans didn’t come out well and therefore both Masia and Foggia will start from relegated positions of the grid on Sunday race. We are aware that rivals are strong and have been improving session after session, so it’s time to do a step forward to battle them.

The FP3 has seen our riders fighting on unusual positions and in the end, Italian Dennis Foggia has had to go through Q1. Unfortunately, he couldn’t pass to Q2 and finished 19th. On the other side of the box, the day has been just slightly better. Spaniard Jaume Masia has managed to fight on the Q2, but has crossed the line the 11th.

Without any doubt we’ll come back stronger tomorrow! Are you ready to enjoy the race? Do not miss it, Sunday at 11.00 CET.

Jaume Masia, 11th on the grid

“I had improved my lap time when I had to push in order to set my time, but another rider disturbed me and then I haven’t managed to take another good one. The positive thing is we’ve improved and I believe we will adjust the last details on the Warm Up to be ready for the race”

Dennis Foggia, 19th on the grid

“On the last lap of the qualifying I was riding with used tyre and by myself, I’ve missed a lot of time on the last turn because I didn’t have any slipstream and there was a lot of wind. I was feeling good but finally things have gone this way. I know we will do a good job tomorrow and we’ll be ready for the race”.
