Dennis Foggia takes 2nd spot of the podium in Portimao!
The third Grand Prix of 2021 has finished and one of our riders, Dennis Foggia, has stepped onto the podium! A burst of motivation after two difficult races. Bad luck on the other side of the box as teammate Xavi Artigas has ended up on the gravel due to another rider’s mistake.
These are the main facts of the race in Portimao:
- Dennis Foggia has been leading most of the race and imposing a tremendous pace. Until the very last second, he’s been defending and fighting for the victory.
- Xavi Artigas, who had started from the second row of the grid was fighting for victory with teammate Foggia when another rider touched him from behind and made him end on the ground.
- This is the first podium for the Le0pard Racing in 2021.
- Dennis Foggia also finished on the podium in Portimao in 2020, definitely is a good track for the Italian!
Now it’s time to keep working and try to get the best in Jerez in two weeks!
