Johannes Hodapp signs for Leopard Pro Cycling
The past four years, Johannes Hodapp was part of Team SKS Sauerland NRW. Now, the 22-year-old swaps the German UCI Continental Team for a Luxembourgish one.
A versatile, consistent and trustworthy rider is probably the best description one could give Johannes Hodapp. His time trial is good, he is quite the kick in a bunch sprint and let not forget his possibilities on the shorter and smaller climbs. Because his well-rounded characteristics, Hodapp can always be found within the first finishers of the race. Throughout his U23 years he showed this in races such as the Tour of Rhodes, the Eschborn-Frankfurt U23, the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia and often in national races. Last season was probably his best so far, with again a top result at the aforementioned Tour of Rhodes, but there were also top 10 finishes at the U23 German Road Race Championships and in the very strong field of the Deutschland Tour. All in all, a rider you can always count on and which Leopard Pro Cycling is happy to welcome in its ranks.

I am looking forward to joining the team and learn a lot on how to always get the best results as a team. Another target for me in 2022 are the German Road Championships, where I want to be in a good shape, as it will take place near my hometown."
