Leopard up for the battle at Paris-Chauny

One week after finishing the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, Leopard Pro Cycling heads into the final races of the season. First, there will be Paris-Chauny. A not to be underestimated UCI 1.1 race.

Paris - Chauny (UCI 2.Pro)
25.09 | Margny-lès-Compiègne - Chauny | 203.5 km

One could be mistaken... The start in Compiègne, a classic type race ahead and teams such as Alpecin-Deceuninck, Lotto Soudal and other UCI World and Pro Teams at the start line. No, it is not Paris-Roubaix, but it is Paris-Chauny. Zero cobblestones, but 203.5 tough kilometers are on the menu of this race that is part of the Europe Tour. After the start has been given, the riders head into a northeastern directon, since that is were Chauny is situated. The two cities are just 30 kilometers apart, but with many hills nearby, the organization had lots of fun with designing a challenging route. No less than twelve climbs are categorized and even tough they are not that tricky, the fact that they follow eachother in quick succession makes Paris-Chauny a difficult race. Good control from the pack is expacted with sprinters such as Caleb Ewan, Arnaud Démare and Jasper Philipsen at the start. However, this race can quickly be turned upside down by rider that doesn't shy away from a tough battle.
