Leopard Racing, Spring news

Leopard rider Jaume Masià will participate next Sunday (31st May) in the Michelin® Virtual British Grand Prix, a cool event organized by Dorna to keep motivation high while waiting to overcome current COVID-19 situation.

Needless to say it’s being an unpredictable and unique season. After more than two months without racing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, riders, technicians and all the MotoGP paddock are willing to recover from these days. Despite all difficulties, it's important to always look on the bright side, so it's fair to say we are one step closer to a normal journey. Being at home and missing the racing time isn’t an easy task, but as we all know health and safety are first. Before taking a look to the last news, we want to offer our condolences to all the ones who have lost someone these months and at the same time we would like to thank frontline fighters of the virus.

In terms of Leopard Racing, seems that there is a chance to start the 2020 season but it all depends on the statistics, numbers and safety measures. In any case, Dorna, as usual, is working hard to make it possible and we have no doubt the company will give us the best solution. If statistically and frontier-wise is possible, we will be ready to make the most when the time comes.
As for other matters, our academy of riders based in Mallorca, where the guys normally work out and get the best skills for the races is currently closed. Of course, waiting for the governmental news. The aim is always to start again as soon as possible.

To have fun even in the difficult times, Dorna has organized virtual races with riders: Leopard rider Dennis Foggia took part in the last one and this weekend will be Jaume Masià’s turn. The Spaniard will participate on Sunday at 3.00pm in the Michelin® Virtual British Grand Prix. If you are a MotoGP fan, below you will find the links to follow the race, you’ll see how tricky and unexpected this could be! After the last experience, Leopard Racing can say that’s an entertaining way to still be close to the thing we like the most: racing!
And last but not least, many thanks to all the people who are supporting us and to all of you working from home to be ready when everything will be back to normal. Do not forget to stay tuned and follow the activities of our riders through our social media channels!
