Solid Friday for the Le0pard Racing in Portimao

Le0pard riders Jaume Masia and Dennis Foggia have finished 5th and 6th respectively on the combined standings of today’s practice sessions in Portimao. A positive way to start the Portuguese Grand Prix.

The final round of 2020 has started, it’s time to enjoy the last race of this unique season and on this occasion we’ve gotten to an ‘old but gold’ track: Portimao! No one would say we are at the end of November as the weather has welcomed us with hot temperatures and sunny days. Considering the beauty surrounding the circuit, we believe this is going to be a nice weekend.

This morning, Moto3 riders have been the first on touching asphalt and at the end of the FP1, Jaume Masia has set the fastest lap time (1’48.896). Bearing in mind that was the first session throughout an unknown track, hopes are high. On the other side of the box, Italian teammate Dennis Foggia struggled a little and finished 16th (1’50.022). The situation got better in the afternoon as Masia set a 1'48.506 and Dennis a 1'48.562, records that placed them 5th and 6th. Having both on the Top10 of the list is always interesting and of course means that we have solid chances this weekend!

Last but not least, Jaume Masia’s bike has been (once again) the fastest one today getting to 247.1km/h over the rollercoaster of Portimao. Let's see what happens, are you ready for Saturday?
