Kluckers pens pro deal at Tudor Pro Cycling

The news we have all been waiting for has arrived. Arthur Kluckers will be a pro rider as of the 2023 season!

Earlier this year, Leopard Pro Cycling had the privilege of communicating Kluckers’ WorldTour traineeship at UAE Team Emirates. A well deserved chance, since he really made a name for himself during the current cycling season. The evidence is undeniable: 5th at Le Triptyque des Monts & Châteaux, 2nd in stage one of Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, 9th at the U23 European Time Trial Championships, a stage win at the Flèche du Sud and a stage win plus 5th overall at the Tour Alsace. Not only UAE Team Emirates were keen on a rider with his profile, also Tudor Pro Cycling showed interest in the 22-year-old rider from Luxembourg.

Now the deal is finally sealed. Kluckers has officially signed a deal with Tudor, the Swiss outfit that has the UCI ProTeam status as of the 2023 season and is aiming for more for 2024 and beyond. It is with great pleasure that Leopard Pro Cycling hands over Arthur Kluckers to Tudor, a team where he will surely make his mark and which offers a place for him to further prosper under the wings of cycling legend and ex-Leopard rider Fabian Cancellara. Leopard Pro Cycling is thankful for the four seasons together with Arthur and likes to thank him for all the amazing memories and performances.

Out of Leopard’s 2022 class, Arthur Kluckers is the second rider to become a professional next season. Earlier, we announced the departure of Elias Maris to Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise. Both join the impressive list of riders that turned pro after being part of the Leopard Pro Cycling set-up in recent years.

Arthur Kluckers

“I am very much looking forward to the next chapter in my career. The Tudor team’s project and vision is really exciting and I am curious to see it grow and evolve. I hope to find my role in the structure as well as bringing a plus to it. I am going to continue to work hard on improving my abilities and make the next step in my first professional team a good one. I am also very grateful to Leopard Pro Cycling for the last 4 years. I had the opportunity to learn a lot and grow over the years. Year by year I was able to develop and I think this year is a testimony of that with two victories and a few good results. Looking back at the time spent in the team I am very happy to have been a part of it. Leopard is one of the best development structures if you look back at how many guys made it to the professional ranks in the last few years.”

Markus Zingen, Team Manager

“As always we are very happy that yet another Leopard Pro Cycling riders made his way into the pro ranks. The fact that Arthur is a Luxembourger makes it even more special, of course. We look back to a successful trajectory with Arthur in the past three seasons. During our cooperation he improved year by year and it was very nice to see that he showed his potential, especially this season with all those great results. We are sure that Arthur will fit well within the Tudor team and we will – without a doubt – hear more from him in the future.”
