Grand Prix of Czechia: Friday

The Czech Grand Prix got underway today with David Almansa and Adrián Fernández finishing Friday in 13th and 14th position respectively in their first time at Brno:

  • Wet conditions awaited today for Free Practice 1.
  • The Le0pard duo had a good start to the day, topping the timesheets in the morning. David Almansa finished in 1st place with a time of 2’13.933, followed by Adrián Fernández in 2nd with a 2’14.048.
  • A tricky dry Practice session was in store for the two Spaniards in the afternoon, who struggled to improve their times, but made the cut to secure their Q2 seats. With a 2’06.709, David Almansa placed 13th today, ahead of teammate Adrián Fernández, who was 14th with a 2’06.712.
  • See you tomorrow!
“We went from less to more this morning, getting to know the track and finding a good feeling in the wet. The conditions changed for Practice, with a completely dry track where I struggled, both in terms of feeling and tyre management. Despite of this, we were able to make it directly into Q2. We will continue to work on the set-up of the bike for tomorrow”

“Brno is a new track for me, and I’m happy with the feeling we got out of this first day here. The feeling in wet conditions was great, though the afternoon was more challenging in dry conditions. We still lack experience on this track, but tomorrow we’ll have another chance to improve and understand it a bit better”
