The second part of the season got underway today at Spielberg, with Adrián Fernández and David Almansa finishing Friday in 11th and 13th position respectively:

Sunny skies awaited among the Austrian mountains for Free Practice 1.
Back on track after the summer break, both Le0pard riders progressively improved as they tested the feeling with the bike this morning. Adrián Fernández finished 10th with a time of 1’41.313, while David Almansa did so in 13th with a 1’41.571.
As usual, the afternoon brought higher temperatures at Spielberg. The two Spaniards tried their best on Practice, securing their Q2 spots as they finished in 11th and 13th positions. Adrián Fernández set a time of 1’40.894, while David Almansa clocked a 1’40.940.

“It wasn’t an easy first day back after the summer break. We will continue working this afternoon in order to improve our feeling towards tomorrow’s qualifying, because we had some difficulties in that sense today. If we can find the details that we are missing, we can be there tomorrow!”
