Born in Madrid (Spain) in 2004, Adrián Fernández started his career in the FIM CEV Championships, first in the European Talent Cup from 2017 to 2018, and then in the Moto3™ Junior World Championship. In 2020, he debuted in Moto3™, taking part in the PortugueseGP as a replacement rider. In this event, he finished close to the points, earning a seat in Moto3™ for 2021. A tough first season saw multiple DNFs, but a 6th place at the FrenchGP proved a highlight. However, after a challenging campaign in 2022, the Spanish rider was out of the World Championship for 2023. Nevertheless, Adrián Fernández was given the opportunity to compete in the final rounds of the season with Leopard Racing, achieving two top-five finishes in six races and earning a contract extension with the team.
In 2024, Adrián Fernández took a major step forward, securing his first Moto3™ World Championship podiums with second-place finishes in Indonesia and Japan, followed by a third in Australia. The upward trajectory continued in 2025, when he claimed his maiden World Championship victory in Valencia despite a demanding season. Firmly established within Leopard Racing, 2026 represents the moment to turn all that progress into consistent success.
