Le0pard Racing completes the Malaysian Grand Prix with Adrián Fernández stepping onto the podium in 3rd position, ahead of teammate David Almansa in 4th:
- Today’s red-flagged race was shortened to 10 laps. David Almansa, sitting on pole position, was 4th on the start, quickly moving up to 3rd. Adrián Fernández started from 10th, dropping to 12th on the start.
- David Almansa took the lead shortly afterwards, as Adrián Fernández started his comeback, sitting in 5th place with 7 laps to go. By that moment, David Almansa had been overtaken to 4th. With 6 laps to go, Adrián Fernández overtook for 3rd, entering the podium fight, while David Almansa had dropped to 6th.
- It was a continuous fight until the chequered flag, with Adrián Fernández battling for 2nd, but crossing the finish line in 3rd place. David Almansa, for his part, made his way back from 7th, finishing today’s race in 4th place.
