Another Friday of asphalt action in Jerez

Le0pard men Dennis Foggia and Jaume Masia have finished the 11th and the 26th respectively on the combined standings of Friday. Both riders seem to feel better than last week on Spanish soil.

It’s been less than seven days and we are back on track! This weekend is time to battle at the Grand Prix of Andalucia in the same racetrack as the previous week; Jerez. Once again the crew is facing the hot temperatures of the Spanish circuit but there’s nothing preventing us from trying to do our best.

After the bittersweet feeling of precedent race, the whole crew is determined to solve that unfortunate situation and to make the most of this round. As customary, during today’s  practice sessions riders have been trying different things to feel as best as possible on their Hondas. They say it’s never easy and beginnings are always tough and somehow we are experiencing those situations so far this year. The trickiest moment of the day has been Jaume Masia’s crash during the FP2, but the rider is ok and that’s the most important.

The highlight of the day has been Foggia’s better feeling on track: he’s finished the 11th (1’46.559) on the combined sessions and has been the 10th in the afternoon session. The Italian believes on doing a good job this weekend as he feels good and comfortable on the bike. The whole team is working unceasingly to adjust every needed detail. On the other side of the box, Jaume Masia has finished the 26th: they haven’t count on one of his best laps as he’s exceeded track limits and has suffered a crash. Despite those circumstances, the rider is positive and quite satisfied.

Who will be on pole tomorrow? We will guess it tomorrow, stay tuned!

We’ve made a step forward, I feel good on the bike and we need to keep working. I’ll try to secure the Q2 spot tomorrow, let’s see how it goes but overall I feel positive”.
