The British Grand Prix has now come to an end, and today’s been a difficult day for Le0pard Racing, with Jaume Masià finishing in 18th position and Tatsuki Suzuki crashing in the final stages of the race:
- Cloudy but slightly sunny skies welcomed the first race day after the summer break, with a dry race ahead.
- After claiming pole position on Saturday, Le0pard Racing started the race from the first spot on the grid with Jaume Masiá, while teammate Tatsuki Suzuki sat in 10th position on the fourth row.
- In a great start, Jaume Masià took the front and battle to keep it. After some overtakes from the riders behind, when the Spaniard managed to consolidate in first position, he crash at Turn 4 on the second lap, rejoining the track immediately.
- For his part, Tatsuki Suzuki had a good start to the race and soon began to climb up some positions, fighting inside the podium places in the early stages of the race.
- Jaume Masià pushed hard after rejoining the track in order to catch the group ahead of him and, at the end, crossed the finish line in 18th position.
- Tatsuki Suzuki, fighting within a very crowded leading group, started to struggle and dropped to 12th position, suffering a clash and crashing when almost 3 laps to go.
- Today wasn’t what we expected, but we never give up. See you in Austria in two weeks time!
