Dennis Foggia: first victory of his career with the Le0pard Racing

Italian Dennis Foggia has won the Moto3 race of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic, taking this way the maiden victory of his career with Le0pard Racing. Teammate Jaume Masia has crashed a few laps to the end when battling for the second position.

We’ve said it and we meant it: the Czech Grand Prix has been the silver lining! Hard work has finally paid off and the team has gotten the first victory of the season with the Italian man Dennis Foggia. The #7 has commanded most of the race and seemed invincible (indeed he was!): starting from 5th, it only took him a few laps to put himself in front and led all the way to the victory. He’s crossed the line as the 1st of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic. Another Le0pard winner added to the list. What a race!

On the other side of the box, Spaniard Jaume Masia made us dream completing a full Leopard rostrum, as he made a comeback from 13th position and battled for the Top3, but unfortunately the young rider crashed when he was fighting for the 2nd place. Avoiding that bad luck almost at the end of the race, Jaume was doing a very good job too and could have gathered many valuable points.

Things this way, right now Dennis Foggia is the 6th on the general standings (32 points), Jaume Masia the 12th (19 points) and the Le0pard Racing the 5th on team’s classification (51 points).

It’s been a very positive weekend, now let’s pack everything and let’s get to Austria, it will be race time again just in seven days!

I’m very happy after today’s race, we’ve been strong and fast and I have to say thanks to my team and to all the people supporting me. I’ve got a better feeling with the bike and I really needed this result: this is my first victory. See you in Austria!”

It’s been a shame because despite the difficult moments of this weekend, I could have fought for the Top5 at least, it would have been a great result. Now we have to analyze the crash and without any doubt we’ll try again in Austria!”
