Difficult Saturday for the Le0pard Racing in Aragon

Le0pard riders Jaume Masia and Dennis Foggia will start tomorrow from the 17th and the 20th spot of the grid respectively. A complicated Saturday for the team at the Motorland circuit.

Racing isn’t always an easy task and today has all been about that. First, due to low temperatures and cold ambience the regular schedule have changed and we’ve started the practice sessions an hour later than usual. After those track minutes, it’s fair to say that the first session of the morning didn’t go as expected, and neither the final classification of the free practices: Dennis Foggia was 13th and Jaume Masia 20th. At that moment of the day, the positive thing was that although Jaume finished that far, yesterday’s results allowed him to be straight on Q2, as on the combined standings he was the 7th.

In the afternoon, Italian man Dennis Foggia pushed on Q1, did a fast lap but they cancelled it as he took it when there was yellow flag on track. A real pity for the rider who could have taken his chances on Q2. He finally ended up the 20th. On the other side of the box, Jaume Masia couldn’t set a fast lap and finally finished the 17th. We need to keep working to be as in front as possible, the place where we like and we aim to be. It’s going to be a tough race but we know we can do a good job! Let’s work hard and fight!

Do not forget that tomorrow the Moto3 Warm Up will be at 10.00 and the race at 12.00.

It’s been a very difficult day, I’ve struggled already from the FP3. Then on QP we haven’t been able to clinch a good lap. Now it’s time to think on the race”.

We’ve had a strategy problem. We’ll start from the back side of the grid and we’ll try to do a good race, I’ll try to be as in front as possible from the beginning”.
