Difficult Sunday for the Le0pard Racing in Valencia

Le0pard riders Jaume Masia and Dennis Foggia have finished the 9th and the 16th respectively at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.

There are moments in life that put you to the limit and don’t allow you to pursue your dreams. The end of this race has been one of those, as after doing a very solid weekend, Jaume Masia, who started from 4th on the grid, hasn’t been able to score the sufficient points to be on the fight of the Championship until the end. He was doing a consistent race, fighting and overtaking rivals when necessary to get to the top, but the front group started to go away and things got more complicated. In order to avoid a complete tyre consumption, Jaume hasn’t been able to do better than 9th.

On the other side of the box, Italian Dennis Foggia had to do a comeback race as he started from the 27th spot of the grid. Yesterday suffered a crash when pushing on Q1 and didn’t feel at his 100% when it came race time. He managed to overtake other riders and tried to do his best, but finally crossed the line the 16th.

Right at this point, Jaume Masia is the 4th on the general standings (140 points) and Dennis Foggia the 14th (69 points). The bright side is that despite having lost riders title chances, the team holds first position on team’s standings (209 points) and the fastest bike of the whole event has been Masia’s one during the race (234.6km/h). There’s just one race left, let’s cross fingers and let’s give our best!

At the end of the race I didn’t feel good, I will fight for the best result possible in Portimao, that would be my last race with the team and I would like to finish the season doing a nice job”.
Jaume Masia,
9th
I didn’t feel good and I’ve tried to do my best, I’ve struggled during the race. I’ll try it again next week in Portimao”.
Dennis Foggia,
16th
