Grand Prix of Catalunya: Saturday

Le0pard Racing will start tomorrow’s race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from the third and sixth rows of the grid, with Adrián Fernández in 9th and Guido Pini in 16th:

  • Clear and sunny skies welcomed us today at Barcelona for Free Practice 2. Adrián Fernández topped the timesheets this morning with a time of 1’47.412, whilst Guido Pini improved his feeling, finishing in 12th place with a 1’48.067.
  • After successfully progressing through Q1 in 1st position, Guido Pini secured 16th place on tomorrow’s grid with a time of 1’47.718 in Q2. Adrián Fernández pushed until his final lap, setting a 1’47.007 to qualify in 9th position today.
  • We can’t wait to race!
“It’s been another positive day despite the result, which honestly wasn’t too bad. This is not an easy track to put together a lap on your own, and we were able to be fast in those conditions, both in qualifying and this morning. The feeling has been really good so far, and we’ve been able to build a solid pace for tomorrow’s race. We’ll give it our all!”

“Today was challenging, but we were already able to see some important improvements this morning. We were still missing something, but the feeling was much better than yesterday. We improved in Free Practice 2 and also put in a good lap in Q1. Q2 was a bit more complicated, but although we don’t have the best starting position for tomorrow, I think we have the potential to have a good race”
