Grand Prix of Hungary: Sunday

Le0pard Racing completes the Hungarian Grand Prix with Adrián Fernández finishing today’s race in 6th place, ahead of teammate David Almansa in 7th:

  • From 9th on the grid, Adrián Fernández had a difficult start to today’s race, dropping to 13th. David Almansa, meanwhile, remained around his starting position, moving up one place to 9th. Adrián Fernández recovered quickly, making his way into 9th position soon, while David Almansa had dropped to 12th.
  • Halfway through the race, Adrián Fernández caught up with the riders ahead of him, quickly overtaking them to move into 7th place. David Almansa, on the other hand, remained 12th up to that moment.
  • Pushing during the final stages of the race, David Almansa managed to climb up places to finish today’s race in 7th position. Adrián Fernández, for his part, eventually crossed the finish line just ahead of him, securing a 6th place today.
  • See you in Barcelona in two weeks time!
“Once again, it wasn’t the race we expected. The same way it happened in Austria, we missed out on a good start to the race, which compromised the rest of it. We will work on improving this aspect ahead of the next one in Barcelona”

“It was a tough race for me. The first laps were difficult because I was struggling with the grip. As the laps went by, the feeling improved, which helped me to catch up with the riders in front of me, overtaking them to take a 7th place at the end today”
