Grand Prix of Styria: Saturday

The Styrian Saturday has given us some important information and useful laps to be ready for the Sunday race! Inside the blue box, the situation has been positive on Dennis Foggia’s side and a little bit trickier on Xavi Artigas’. No matter what, we are working hard to make the most:

  • This morning was quite difficult and the results weren’t what we wanted: Foggia finished 17th and Artigas 20th on the FP3 and on the combined standings. That meant that both riders had to go through Q1.
  • Italian Dennis Foggia managed to be the fastest of the first qualifying session and this way secured his chances for the Q2, while Artigas didn’t make it just by 0.2 tenths. To point out that at some point he was also in Q2.
  • When the gloves were off, Dennis fought to get the best spot possible and he clinched the second row of the grid, he will start tomorrow from the 6th position.
  • Let’s see how it goes, we ask the weather to be nice and gentle at race time!
I’m pleased after today’s performance. Tomorrow’s key will be a good start and to stay with the front group. We’ll try to gather as many points as possible”.
Dennis Foggia,
6th
I felt good and I was about to get to Q2, we were so close. The positive thing is that I could set a good lap time riding without references and I have a good pace. Let’s see what happens tomorrow, weather forecast rain and you never know!”
Xavi Artigas,
19th
