Grand Prix of Thailand: Saturday

Le0pard Racing will start tomorrow’s race at the Thai Grand Prix from the 3rd and 11th spots on the grid with Ángel Piqueras and Adrián Fernández respectively:

  • Saturday dawned in Buriram with partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures welcoming the riders for Practice 2 in the morning.
  • Securing their seats in Q2, Ángel Piqueras and Adrián Fernández finished the session in 8th and 11th place on the combined, both lowering their times to the 1’40 bracket. Ángel Piqueras set a 1’40.827 while Adrián Fernández clocked a 1’40.983.
  • The afternoon came with qualifying, with the two Spaniards pushing from the beginning, setting their best time of Q2 in their first run.
  • Ángel Piqueras will start tomorrow’s race from the front row, sitting on the 3rd spot of the grid with a time of 1’40.727. Adrián Fernández, for his part, will start from 11th on the fourth row with a 1’41.258.
