Le0pard Racing will start the first race of the season from the front and third rows of the grid, with Adrián Fernández in 3rd and Guido Pini in 9th:
- Free Practice 2 got underway under sunny skies, with Adrián Fernández in 2nd place with a time of 1’41.278 and Guido Pini in 7th, clocking a 1’41.577 this morning.
- Going straight into Q2, both Le0pard riders left it to their second run of qualifying to set their best marks of the weekend. Adrián Fernández qualified 3rd with a time of 1’40.693, while Guido Pini did so in 9th with a time of 1’41.319.
- We can’t wait to race!
“The most important thing going into the race isn’t our position on the grid, which of course plays a part, but rather the confidence I have in both this bike and this team. We’ve done a great job so far this weekend, also securing a front row start for tomorrow. We’ll approach the race calmly, knowing that it will be tough due to the heat”
“We can be very satisfied with today’s performance. We have been working on our pace this morning, with our sights already set on tomorrow’s race. Although we missed out on a good full lap in qualifying, I don’t think starting from ninth position will be a problem. It’s our first race with the team and the bike, so I know it will be difficult, but I’m quite confident that we can do a good job”
