Le0pard Racing completes the Thai Grand Prix with a difficult Sunday as both Le0pard riders crashed two laps from the end of the race:
- Sunday dawned with cloudy skies and wet conditions in Buriram.
- Le0pard Racing started today’s race from the first and fourth rows of the grid, with Ángel Piqueras in the 3rd spot and Adrián Fernández in the 11th.
- The race was declared wet and shortened to 12 laps, but all riders were on slick tyres as the track was drying.
- On a good start to the race, Ángel Piqueras remained in 3rd place, while Adrián Fernández moved up positions, placing 7th in the early stages.
- With nine laps to go, Ángel Piqueras dropped from 2nd to 7th as the overtaking didn’t stop. Adrián Fernández, for his part, pushed to sit in 3rd a lap later.
- Both Le0pard riders kept fighting for the podium places and within the leading group during the following laps, constantly changing positions.
- Two laps from the end, when they were 6th and 7th, both Spaniards crashed. Ángel Piqueras couldn’t finished the race, while Adrián Fernández rejoined to finish in 22nd position. Both of them are fine, which is the most important thing.
