Grand Prix of the Americas: Saturday

Saturday is done and dusted, and it’s been a good one! Le0pard riders are in really good shape, let’s analyze why:

  • After the good results on the combined standings of the free practice sessions, the #7 and the #43 were straight in Q2, as Dennis Foggia had previously set the 3rd fastest time and Xavi Artigas the 5th.
  • When the lights were green for the riders in Q2, Dennis Foggia imposed his pace and speed and almost got pole position, he just missed it at the end of the session by 0.1! His 2’16.179 placed him as the second of tomorrow’s starting grid.
  • Xavi Artigas, following his latest improvements, will occupy the 5th spot as he’s set a 2’16.334 lap time. Well done, guys!
  • This weekend is the first time at the Circuit of the Americas riding the Honda for Dennis Foggia and the first time ever for Xavi Artigas, and so far we can say they’ve liked the track and it really suits them. Could we dream of a blue podium?
I’m pleased, we’ve done a good job and to start from the first row of the grid is going to be important. The main goal will be gathering as many points as possible for the Championship. Let’s enjoy the race!”
Dennis Foggia,
2nd
It’s been a nice day, I’ve felt good during the FP3 and the qualifying session. I feel comfortable with the bike and we’ve been able to push, both riding alone and with a group of riders. Starting from the second row of the grid will help us, let’s see how it goes, without any doubt we’ll give our best”.
Xavi Artigas,
5th
