  • Cloudy skies awaited later for qualifying, with the two Spaniards going straight into Q2.
  • David Almansa achieved his first front row result today with the 1’39.823 he set on his last flying lap, starting tomorrow from the 3rd spot of the grid. Adrián Fernández, on the other hand, couldn’t improve on his second run of Q2, and will start from 13th on the grid with the 1’40.474 he set at the beginning of the session.
  • We can’t wait to race!
“I’m very happy to have achieved my first front row! The feeling with the bike has been amazing so far, and the team is doing a great job. I expect the race to be a tight one again if the conditions don’t change too much. What really counts is tomorrow, so we’re going to give it our best shot!”

“It was not the qualifying we expected. However, the feeling with the bike was very good today, which is very important for the race. I’m not happy with today’s result, but I’m happy with the work the team has done, which has helped me to improve a lot in order to be ready for tomorrow’s race”
