Dennis Foggia wins in Mugello!

Dennis Foggia has taken the first victory of the year at the Circuit of Mugello. The sixth round of the season on Italian soil has ended up with our Italian rider crossing the line as the 1st:

  • Dennis started from the 4th spot of the grid and immediately showed a tremendous pace. The package composed of rider and bike was strong and fast.
  • Rivals were strong too but when they overtook, Dennis recovered the position back and finally was the unbeatable man of the day. He commanded most of the race and made clear he had the situation under control.
  • On the other side of the box, Xavi Artigas had to face a challenge: he was penalized yesterday and had to do two long laps during the race. The Spaniard tried his best but couldn’t recover as much as he wanted.
  • Xavi Artigas crossed the line 16th, very closed to the points zone.

We want to send our condolences to Jason Dupasquier’s family and the Prüstel team. The MotoGP paddock has lost one of its riders today, the young boy passed away after a tragic incident yesterday. Rest in peace, Jason.

It’s been an amazing race, I really wanted to win. I really like this track and I’ve had fun. Many thanks to the team for the job done and all my thoughts to the Dupasquier family”.
Dennis Foggia,
winner
It’s been a shame. I did a good start and before the long laps, I was in the group to fight for good positions. After the first long lap, I’ve lost a lot of time and there was a lot of distance. Even more after the second one. Overall it’s a pity because I felt really good. I want to send my condolences to the Dupasquier family”.
Xavi Artigas,
16th
