Gran Premio de España: Sunday

Le0pard Racing completes the Spanish Grand Prix with Adrián Fernández finishing today’s race in 6th place while Ángel Piqueras does so in 10th:

  • The sun welcomed us today for race day at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto.
  • Le0pard Racing started today’s race from the second and fourth rows of the grid, with Ángel Piqueras sitting in the 6th spot and Adrián Fernández in the 12th.
  • On a difficult start to the race, Ángel Piqueras dropped down a few positions, sitting in 10th. Adrián Fernández, for his part, held on to his starting position.
  • One behind the other, both Le0pard riders started to push from 10th and 11th, with Adrián Fernández in front.
  • As the laps went by, both Spaniards tried to improve their rhythm, with Adrián Fernández moving up to 7th with 6 laps to go. Ángel Piqueras struggled a bit more in comparison, staying in 11th.
  • Adrián Fernández took the lead in his group and pushed hard to end up catching the group ahead of them, closing the gap and finishing today’s race in 6th position.
  • Ángel Piqueras remained in 11th place in the final stages of the race, but crossed the finish line in 10th position at the end.
  • See you in two weeks time in Le Mans!
