Grand Prix of Great Britain: Saturday

Le0pard Racing will start tomorrow’s race at Silverstone from the second and seventh rows of the grid, with Adrián Fernández in 6th and Guido Pini in 21st:

  • Improving on yesterday’s lap times, Adrián Fernández and Guido Pini finished Free Practice 2 in 6th and 18th positions, setting times of 2’10.216 and 2’11.116 respectively.
  • Guido Pini couldn’t make it through Q1 today, qualifying in 22nd place with a time of 2’11.703, moving up to 21st on the seventh row of the grid following a withdrawal.
  • Adrián Fernández, on the other hand, qualified in 6th position today, clocking a 2’09.843 on his last flying lap to be the first Honda rider on tomorrow’s grid.
  • We can’t wait to race!
“It was a very positive day overall. We worked on the tyres in Free Practice 2, and it went quite well, so we have a clear idea of what to use tomorrow. In qualifying, we were just missing a little bit to put all the sectors together, but 6th on the grid is a very good result. I’m very satisfied with it and with the work the team has done!”

“It’s clear that we have to keep fighting and working to get out of this situation, even though it’s becoming more difficult. It’s frustrating because I know our potential is clearly not this, but we really need to keep working to turn things around. We’ll try to find a solution as soon as possible”
