Italian Grand Prix: Friday

Moto3 action on track has finished as for today! The Mugello Circuit is the main character of this weekend, a track we’d really missed as we couldn’t race here last year. Nice weather, the most beautiful landscape, and the Italian colors are the scenario for the 6th round of the season.

There you are today’s main facts:

  • Dennis Foggia has finished 2nd on the combined standings of Friday practice sessions. Seems the Italian soil is suitable for the Italian rider!
  • Xavi Artigas has struggled over the morning: the Spaniard has had electric problems on his bike and he’s managed to do just a few laps. He has ended up 21st after the two sessions but overall the feeling on that laps has been positive.
  • Mugello is a very demanding track and every detail counts, we need to keep working to try to get the best spot possible on tomorrow’s qualifying.
I’ve felt good on the bike and I like this track, we’ll try to keep pushing tomorrow to do a nice qualifying session!”
Dennis Foggia,
2nd
It’s been a difficult day due to the problems we’ve had. We’ve solved them on the FP2 but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to do a lot of laps. The positive thing is that I’ve felt good on the bike and we’ll push tomorrow to be as in front as possible”.
Xavi Artigas,
21st
