Jaume Masia, fastest on Friday in Aragon

Le0pard rider and winner of last race Jaume Masia has been the fastest on the combined standings of today and teammate Dennis Foggia the 12th.

Here we are again ready for the Grand Prix of Teruel at the Motorland Circuit! Less than a week ago we were enjoying Jaume Masia’s victory in this track and now it’s time to try to repeat such an amazing result! The weather seems to be better and hotter than last week and we’ve got some experience already, that means that chances are high.

It’s fair to say that there’s still work to do, as rivals are strong and fast, but what we’ve seen today inside the blue box is that our riders feel better on their bikes and specially Masia has shown a tremendous speed and performance, as he’s set the fastest lap time earlier this morning (1’58.076) and no one has been able to beat him in the afternoon. Masia and his Honda have not just set the fastest lap time, but also the maximum high speed of the event so far (244.0km/h) and those are some interesting facts for the team. We never give up!

On the other side of the box, despite results don’t reflect true potential, Dennis Foggia has had a positive day too. Moto3 is known for being such a crazy category and all the sessions include a bit of that. At the end, and after trying different things in order to improve this weekend, Dennis has finished the 12th (1’58.707) and feels good with the job done today.

Let’s keep working, there’s no time to lose! Are you ready for qualifying day?

I’m happy, we’ve been competitive overall, the bike is quite similar to the one of last week. This afternoon we’ve tried different things that I didn’t like a lot. We’ll keep working but I feel good and that’s positive”.

We need to keep working like this, we’ve changed some details that I liked and it will be important to go straight to Q2 tomorrow”.
