Le0pard riders Dennis Foggia and Jaume Masia will start tomorrow from the 8th and the 9th spot of the grid respectively. Not a bad place to start from on the last race of the year.
f 2020 had to be described with a single word that would be “unexpected’, at least for us. This weekend we had a solid chance to take the ‘Moto3 World Champion Team’ crown as we are currently leading the standings, but a penalty given yesterday to both riders has jeopardized that dream. If that wasn’t enough, we still are on the fight for the runner-up spot of the Championship with Jaume Masia (he’s 30 far from the leader but could get to 2nd, mininum). Both riders will have to do a double long lap tomorrow during the race and that will make them lose a huge amount of time (the penalty has been given due to slow riding). Things this way, the Portuguese race will be a difficult one. As always we’ll try to do our best and at least qualifying session hasn’t gone that bad. To take a look to the bigger picture regarding tomorrow’s options: Masia has been the fastest of the Combined Free Practices and Dennis has shown solid pace and speed too, having these results we could have been able to be on top tomorrow, but we need to adapt to the situation.
Let’s cross fingers and let’s try to finish the 2020 season the best way possible in Portimao.
