Grand Prix of San Marino: Saturday

A great Saturday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli has come to its end! We are satisfied with the job done, and these have been the highlights of the day:

  • Dennis Foggia has shown a tremendous pace, speed, and confidence this weekend. After the sessions, the Italian has confirmed it again at qualifying time, as he’s set the second-fastest lap time (1.42’013) and will start tomorrow from the first row of the grid. A very good position to start the race from!
  • Spaniard teammate Xavi Artigas, who has been improving in the last races, has carried out his best qualifying session of the season so far: still a little in pain, but the rider has ended up the 6th (1’42.271) and will start tomorrow from the second line.
  • Overall this is the most performing Saturday of the 2021 season, hopes are high and we are determined to do a good race!
I’m very happy, it’s being a great weekend. I feel good with the bike and I want to keep doing our best, as in the last races. Let’s enjoy the race!”
Dennis Foggia,
2nd
Today’s been a positive day, since the FP3. I’m still in pain but I’ve felt good on the bike. I don’t know how my shoulder will react during the race but starting from the second row will help and I will try my best”.
Xavi Artigas,
6th
