Grand Prix of Aragon: Friday

Friday at MotorLand comes to an end with Adrián Fernández and Guido Pini in 4th and 10th positions respectively:

  • Sunny skies welcomed us today for Free Practice 1 at Aragon. Guido Pini finished in 5th position with a time of 1’59.039, ahead of teammate Adrián Fernández in 7th, setting a 1’59.121.
  • Securing a spot in Q2, Adrián Fernández set a 1’57.938 in his third run of Practice to place 4th as the top Honda rider. Likewise, Guido Pini set a 1’58.202 to finish 10th, also going directly into Q2.
  • See you tomorrow for qualifying day!
“There are still a few things we need to improve because we were not feeling completely comfortable today, which is a problem when it comes to doing a longer run. That said, I’m happy with our result today, going directly into Q2, which was our goal. We’ll keep working so that we can do a little better tomorrow. I trust that, together with the team, we can bring out the best version of both the bike and ourselves!”

“It was a good day today! We made it into Q2 and I felt quite fast and comfortable on the bike, although we still need to make some adjustments, especially at the front. Tomorrow morning we’ll need to focus more on doing longer runs to prepare for the race, but today was a good starting point.”
