Le0pard Racing completes the Thailand Grand Prix with a thrilling race, in which Jaume Masià crossed the finish line in 4th position after a tricky end while Adrián Fernández made it into the points finishing in 15th:
- Sunday got underway under the cloudy but sunny skies of Buriram, again with hot conditions.
- Le0pard Racing started the race from the third row of the grid with both riders, Jaume Masià sitting in 7th and Adrián Fernández in 8th.
- In a strong start to the race, Jaume Masià went from 7th to 2nd place in less than a lap, hitting the front for the first time in the early stages of it. Adrián Fernández, for his part, had a tough start to the race, dropping to 14th position.
- The battle was raging in a very crowded leading group, with Jaume Masià constantly changing position. The Spaniard was back in the lead several times, but the fight was nowhere near over.
- The overtaking didn’t stop for a second, with Jaume Masià dropping to 6th at one point, recovering positions soon after as he made a strong move into the lead 5 laps to go.
- In the meantime, Adrián Fernández tried to push to recover some places, but instead, he continued to struggle as he dropped to 17th place as the race was drawing to a close.
- After dropping a few positions again, Jaume Masià made another strong move towards the podium places when it was 2 laps to go, sitting in 2nd and managing to hold on to the position.
- The battle was still on in the very last lap, with Jaume Masià fighting tooth and nail until the chequered flag, with the Spaniard crossing the finish line in 4th place after missing out on the podium in a very tight end to the race.
- Adrián Fernández, in the end, was able to get into the points as he crossed the finish line in 15th position.
- With three rounds still to go this season, Jaume Masià maintains his lead in the Riders’ Championship after the Thailand Grand Prix, now with a 17-point advantage.
