- See you tomorrow!
“It was a bit of a difficult day because it was quite windy on track today. These conditions are pretty normal here at Phillip Island, which is why we need to find a better setup to make the bike feel less affected by the wind tomorrow. I’m happy to go straight to Q2, as that was one of our goals for the day, but we still need to improve a lot. We’ve been quite competitive here in wet conditions in the past, so we’ll see if we can make the most of them tomorrow if it does end up raining!”
“The day started quite well this morning, but the afternoon didn’t go the same way. We were quite close to making it through to Q2, but I crashed very early in the second run of Practice and couldn’t put together a good lap. We have to keep working because, in the end, we’re not as far off as it might seem. Hopefully, we can improve a little tomorrow and get closer to the guys in front to make it through Q1 and qualify as far up the grid as possible.”
