  • Sunny skies greeted us this afternoon for Free Practice 1. Adrián Fernández was 8th with a time of 2’05.242, ahead of Guido Pini in 13th, who set a 2’05.557.
  • Practice got underway under the lights, with Adrián Fernández securing a spot in tomorrow’s Q2. Although the Spaniard struggled at first, the 2’03.925 he set on his third run put him in 8th place. Guido Pini, on the other hand, missed out on Q2 today as he finished in 18th position with a 2’04.397.
  • See you tomorrow for qualifying day!
“It’s been a pretty positive first day here in Qatar. I’m feeling really good on the bike, and the team did a great job today. However, I’m not yet at 100% physically after last week’s cold. I’ll try to get some rest tonight so I can feel better tomorrow and keep building on the positives from today!”

“Today we weren’t able to make it straight into Q2. We need to work on several things, but above all, we’re lacking pace. We’ll try to get everything sorted tonight so that the feeling improves tomorrow and we can make it through Q1. It hasn’t been a perfect day, but tomorrow we’ll give it our best to turn things around!”
