The Spanish Grand Prix comes to an end with Adrián Fernández crossing the finish line in 4th position today at Jerez, while teammate David Almansa crashed on the first lap:
- Starting from 6th on the grid, Adrián Fernández sat 7th at the start of the race. David Almansa, who started from 20th, crashed on the first lap, not being able to rejoin the race. Fortunately, he returned to the box feeling fine.
- Adrián Fernández started to push from 7th, but it wasn’t until the final stages of the race that he was able to start moving up places.
- With four laps to go, Adrián Fernández overtook for 6th and 5th, closing the gap to the rider in front to make a final overtake on the last corner on the last lap to finish today’s race in 4th place.
