The nineteenth round of the season got underway today at the Sepang International Circuit, with Adrián Fernández finishing Friday in 2nd place and Ángel Piqueras in 11th:

Wet conditions welcomed us today for Free Practice of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Both Ángel Piqueras and Adrián Fernández delivered a solid performance in the morning, testing the track to finish in 1st and 4th position respectively. Ángel Piqueras clocked a 2’23.835, while Adrián Fernández put in a 2’24.610.
Later in the afternoon, the sun was out for Practice 1, in which the two Spaniards improved on an already dry track.
Adrián Fernández finished Friday at Sepang in 2nd position with a time of 2’11.457, while Ángel Piqueras did so in 11th with a time of 2’12.286.

“The fact that I was able to do a solid race last year at Sepang helped me a lot today, as I have been able to find the pace quickly. I feel that this is a track that suits my riding style very well, which is also a positive thing looking ahead into the weekend. “It was a good first day at Sepang. We still need to polish some details so that I can feel more comfortable with the bike, but the feeling has been great overall today, both in wet and dry conditions. We are ready for tomorrow”
