Le0pard Racing completes the French Grand Prix under challenging conditions, with Adrián Fernández claiming back-to-back podium finishes in 2nd place and Guido Pini crossing the finish line in 6th:
- Tricky conditions awaited on race day at Le Mans. Declared wet, today’s race was shortened to 13 laps, with Adrián Fernández starting from pole position and Guido Pini from 11th on the fourth row.
- Both Le0pard riders had difficult starts today, but managed to recover quickly. The Spaniard was 2nd by Lap 3, while the Italian was already 6th.
- Guido Pini pushed and reached 4th position on Lap 5, but was eventually overtaken, crossing the finish line in 6th position today. Adrián Fernández, for his part, held on to 2nd position until the chequered flag, securing his second podium of the season.
- See you next week in Barcelona!
“It was a bit of a lottery today, and fortunately things went well for us! I didn’t make the best start, which compromised the early stages of the race. I managed to recover positions quickly, but I saw a lot of crashes and didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. I tried to follow and catch Quiles, but I had a couple of scares and decided to stay calm. It was either a podium or zero points. I’m very happy to have secured back-to-back podiums and I’m already looking forward to Barcelona next week!”
“Today we managed to save what has been a difficult weekend. We know we are competitive in wet conditions, but it was still a very tricky race. We’re taking some points home today, so in the end I’m happy. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming races because Barcelona is a circuit I really like, and even more so Mugello. We’ll keep trying to enjoy ourselves and give our maximum!”
