It’s always a pleasure being back at the iconic Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli! The first day of free practice sessions on Italian soil has been very positive! These are the main reasons:
- Dennis Foggia has started the day feeling comfortable and confident, since the last races he’s done a solid step forward, and now his momentum continues, he’s finished as the fastest of the day, setting a tremendous 1’42.009. The #7 likes this track and wants to make the most as he has options in the fight for the Championship.
- Spaniard Xavi Artigas, who is still recovering from the last race crash, has ended up the 9th after the FP1 and the 14th (1’43.112) on the combined standings. To point out that he’s improved his free practice performance.
- It will be important to pay attention to weather conditions as rain has been appearing throughout the day and that clearly jeopardizes the job inside the box and on track.
